San Joaquin Delta College (Stockton CA) dedicated its "Black Box" Studio Theatre to retired long-time drama instructor, Alfred H. Muller on Sept. 7. Friends, family, colleagues and former students were on hand for a gala reception and dedication ceremony in Delta's Atherton Auditorium. Muller was honored not only for his service as an educator and director for 26 years at Delta College, but for his many years of service at Escalon and Edison H.S., including numerous collaborations with the local/regional theatre community over 51 years. Al estimates he has directed over 250 shows in his career.
In 1998, Al was elected to the "College of Fellows of the American Theatre at the Kennedy Center" for his leadership and service to state, regional, and national theatre. Congratulations Al!
