On January 31, 2012, the Peralta Benefits Office held a Public Hearing to discuss the 18% rate increase proposed by Kaiser. This increase would cost Peralta over $2 million dollars a year. Concerned parties were able to ask questions of the Kaiser representative and look at the data this rate increase is based on.
