In celebration of Earth Day, this month's Peralta Matters focuses on Sustainability. First up is Jack Lin, organizer of the Sustainable Peralta Initiative. He highlights a number of facilities projects as we bring all new construction to LEED Silver certifications. He also promotes the upcoming Earth Day Celebration on April 28. Next Robin Freeman talks about the thirty year history of the Environmental Management Program at Merritt College and the student-built Self-Reliant House. We finish up with Jasmine Shepard, who tells us her experience in the highly acclaimed Laney Green Jobs Corps.
