In this commentary, we take a look at a money market mutual fund annual report. This money market fund invests almost exclusively in Treasury bills and other short-term securities backed by the United States Treasury. These types of short-term investments are sold at a discount and "accrue" to the face value over 3 to 6 to 9 months.
