Optics was the theme of the first Friday Night Science event held at Allan Hancock College on Feb. 25. More than 300 community members and students were at the event to watch a special demonstration and try the hands-on experiments set up by Hancock students. There are three more Science Night events scheduled for March 11, April 8 and May 13. Friday night Science is a free event and open to the public.
