In a 4-1 vote, it was moved that the Oxnard College Film and Television Instruction program not be discontinued or consolidated to Moorpark College.

In order to address the concerns brought forth by some of the Trustees, it was amended that the program be closely examined and studied this year in order that it may be brought back to the board for consideration by next year. However, because of the support it's received from not only faculty and students but from the community at large, we feel confident that the program will flourish and prove to the board that saving it was well worth the investment.

We've accomplished what we set out to do, and now we have all of you to thank for it. We'll still keep this page up and running, and will be happy to fill you in on any details you may have missed throughout this whole ordeal.
